EMS*PR Internships (Quarterly)
COMPANY OVERVIEW: For nearly a decade, Eric Michael has served as a creative director and strategic marketing and public relations representative for people, brands, and organizations throughout the entertainment, fashion, and luxury lifestyle industries. His work has aided in the development and growth of hundreds of clients, nationwide.
Eric Michael Sales Public Relations offer an opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience within a professional sports organization. The EMS*PR Internship Program is an excellent first step in your professional development as a marketing, public relations, and communications aficionado.
POSITION OVERVIEW: EMS*PR seeks a highly motivated, well organized, and trend-savvy intern to join our growing team. You gain invaluable hands-on experience working with the administrative and operations team of one of Philadelphia’s most prestigious elite public relations and marketing firms. Qualified candidates will possess strong written and verbal communication skills with a basic understanding and strong interest in public relations, marketing, social media, and event planning. Ideal candidates are creative, detail oriented, and incredibly driven towards reaching their success — while interested in having a little fun along the way. (We’re not your average PR firm, after all.)
Our internship opportunities are available on a part-time or full-time basis (depending on your availability and level of interest), however, we do require a commitment of at least eight hours per-week for the course of the twelve weeks. We know that’s more than the average college requirements, so we’re willing to work with you to accommodate a shorter (or longer) time with us.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills, a background in (or focus on) the public relations, marketing, and / or brand development industries. Experience and a personal presence within social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) will go a long way in the day-to-day activities of this position. (We use Hootsuite a lot.)
EMS*PR Interns are expected to be self-starters who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high-energy team. Our ideal interns are dedicated, flexible, and ready to learn — and laugh!
